• 3-6 months reserve your florist. It is very important your florist is experienced with wedding design and details.
• Share your budget. A good florist should be able to get the overall feeling you desire.
• Bring a full description of your gown, so the designer can create a beautiful bouquet to compliment your dress.
• Know your venue, so your designer will have a since of how to create your vision.
• Share any photos you have collected. It helps to see what your visions are.
• Bring samples of colors you have chosen for bridesmaid's dresses, and perhaps linen choices.
• If you are supplying the florist with items to be used, please have them with the florist, at least one week prior to the wedding.
• Discuss what the contract includes. Deposit, when is final payment due, is there a delivery and set up fee, do flowers need to be transferred after the wedding?

• Do not try to do the flowers yourself. Only hire professionals. Flowers are such an important part of your wedding day and you don't need the added stress.
• If you are allowing others to help with some of the floral pieces, only use quality flowers from a professional flower shop. They have been treated to last.
